Hayden Canyon
Hayden Canyon is located in the city of Hayden, Idaho—immediately adjacent to the resort town of Coeur d’Alene, 25 miles East of Spokane, Washington, and 100 miles south of the Canadian border. Hayden Canyon is approved for 1,820 residential units on 610 acres of lush, forested area. The site offers tremendous views of the hidden canyon, surrounded by basalt cliffs and beautiful natural features. Over a third of the project (approximately 250 acres) is dedicated as open space.
The approved master plan provides an abundance of proposed on-site amenities for the residents, including a community park, fitness center and mixed use commercial district with restaurants and retail shops. A K-8 public char- ter school was completed in September 2020 and was recently doubled in size in 2023 due to demand. There is an on-site equestrian center for residents to enjoy the trails throughout the development. A local church is planning a facility that features a mixed use indoor and outdoor sports complex as well.
Hayden Canyon will offer a range of housing options from townhomes, cottages and bungalows, to large lot estate homes. The product mix includes many different sizes and types of single-family and multifamily housing, which will appeal to a broad range of residents and families residing in Hayden full time or those seeking recreational second-homes.
